About us

Through our flagship From Aid to Trade (FA2T) Project, we directly support over 350 farmers and indirectly touch the lives of more than 1,500 people in Abossi and surrounding areas. Our work equips farmers with the skills, knowledge, and resources they need to improve their livelihoods, boost productivity, and secure a sustainable future through agriculture.

We believe in a community-led approach, where farmers are not just beneficiaries but co-creators of their own development. By leveraging local solutions, resources, and knowledge, we are helping communities transition from dependence on aid to thriving through trade. Together, we are improving milk production, promoting climate-smart farming practices, and enhancing food security.

Globally, three in four of the world’s poorest people live in rural areas of developing countries, and most rely on agriculture for survival. These farmers face daunting challenges from climate change and market barriers to inequality and lack of access to technology and finance. At Neighbour Initiative Abossi CBO, we partner with donors, county governments, the private sector, civil society, and other stakeholders to bridge these gaps and enable farmers to lead their own transformation.
