We’ve worked on improving the lives of over 350 small scale farmers directly and 1500 people indirectly.

Through the From Aid To Trade Project (FA2T) we help small-scale farmers, especially those most at risk of being left behind in the remote villages of Abossi break free from the cycle of low productivity and poverty.

What we do

We provide practical solutions that transform farms, boost incomes, and build stronger communities. By connecting rural communities to finance, markets, technology, and knowledge, we empower them to solve their own challenges.

Capacity Building

We start by organising and equipping small-scale farmers with crucial skills, knowledge, and resources to improve their agricultural livelihoods and increase productivity. The initial phase focuses on providing foundational support.

Take Action

In this step, we assist farmers in implementing the knowledge they’ve gained. The focus shifts to adopting local solutions, and sustainable farming practices that protect the environment, boost production and enhance food security

Market Linkages

This is the “to Trade” step, where the project connects the newly empowered farmers to broader economic systems. This involves providing access to finance, markets, and technology, enabling them to move from subsistence farming to generating income and becoming self-reliant.

Sustainability

The final step involves building resilience and creating impact, beyond the project’s beneficiaries. This is achieved by advocating for policies, promoting innovation, and focusing on inclusion to achieve systemic change and prosperity for the community
